Criteria
Description
Quality of Education
  • I believe that if I attended ASU, I will have received an exceptional education.
Location
  • Arizona State University is located in Tempe, Arizona.
  • I would like to go to a university in a warm climate, such as ASU.
Size, Diversity
  • ASU is a very large university with approximately 40,000 students.
  • I would prefer attending a large school like ASU because of the amount of students and because of the diversity that the school contains.
Scholarships
  • ASU offers many different scholarships to its applicants.  They offer over 20 different scholarships that you can apply for.
  • I would definitely take the opportunity and time to apply for a scholarship because going to ASU and coming from a different state would cost more than going to an in-state school.
Athletics
  • The Arizona Sun Devils are known for their aggressive football team.
  • I would want to go to a school with a good football team because I enjoy going to football games and cheering on the team.
Majors Offered
  • ASU offers more than 250 programs and majors to choose from.
  • With than many majors to choose from, I know that it won't be difficult to find a major that suites me best.
Tuition
  • ASU's tuition for an out-of-state resident costs over $20,000.
  • I will take advantage of their financial aid opportunities to try and limit the cost as much as possible.
My Eligibility
  • ASU is my "shoe-in" university because I know that I could get into this university.
  • My GPA is currently above the requirements, all I need to do is take my ACT and that will determine whether or not I will be accepted.
Coed vs. Single-sex
  • Arizona State University is a coed university.  That will provide me with a more diverse setting rather than going to a single-sex university.
Public/Private
  • Arizona State University is a public university.
