Criteria Description Quality of Education The quality of education that you will recieve if you choose to go to Stanford is ranked above many other schools.  I know that if one day I attended Stanford, I will recieve an education that will exceed many others. Location Stanford University is located in Standford, California. Stanford, California is a very small town. Size, Diversity There are approximately 16,000 students enrolled at Stanford University. Considering the requirements, 16,000 people is a lot. Scholarships Due to the academic integrity you need to attend such a prestigious school, Stanford offers many scholarships in which to apply for. I will always take the opportunity to apply for scholaships to every school that I apply to. Athletics Stanford has a very nice athletic complex and has very good athletic reputations. Majors Offered Stanford offers a variety of different majors to choose from. The have education schools, business schools, law schools, and even medicine schools.  There are many more majors as well. Tuition It costs over $53,000 to attend Stanford University, which is quite a lot. I would most definitely apply for scholarships.  My Eligibility Considering I have not taken my ACT or SAT yet, I do not know if I am eligible.  Although I may not be closer when time to apply, Stanford is a dream school, and I can set goals that I will one day meet so I can go to Stanford University. Coed vs. Single-sex Stanford University is a coed school.  Public/Private Stanford is a private university.
